50 Years of Spaceflight

In this era of 50 years of Manned Space Flight, USA stands at the top of the list in the Nations with the most Astronauts who have been sent to the space. Russia stands at the third position with France and Germany following it. The farthest Manned Missions from Earth is Apollo 13 which has travelled around 401,056 km in 1970. Next farthest is Apollo 8 followed by Gemini 11 and Gemini 10.

Yuri Gagarin was the first to fly aboard Vostok 1, followed by John Glen and Valentina Tereshkova.

Explaining Gravitational Lensing
Light always leaves from a young, star forming blue galaxy near the edge of the visible universe. Some of the light passes through a large cluster of galaxies and surrounding dark matter, directly in the line of sight between earth and the distant galaxy. The dark matter’s gravity acts like a lens, bending the incoming light.
A Brief History of the Solar System
The process of existence or initiative of life in the Solar System looks very interesting. Life in the solar system is a monomeric nucleotide, pretty much just a simple molecular compound made out of a normal, every-day inorganic material. Life started in the Earth once the things inside it are cooled down a bit. Basically life in the Earth is a replicator, the way it just happened or formed. Life...
Graphic of Phases of the Moon
A lunar stage or stage of the moon is the manifestation of the lit up (sunlit) divide of the Moon as viewed by a spectator, generally on Earth. The lunar stages update cyclically as the Moon circles the Earth, as per the adapting relative positions of the Earth, Moon, and Sun. The part of the lunar surface challenging the Sun is continuously sunlit, anyway the allotment of this lit up side ...
The Space Capsule
The Space Capsule has been developed for NASA to service the International space station; the reusable Dragon capsule is lofted into orbit by Spacex’s Falcon 9 rocket. While the first flights are to carry cargo only, the capsule was designed to be capable of carrying up to seven astronauts.
Apollo Lunar Module Asent Stage Interior
The Lunar Module Ascent stage interiors on a forward view look very great. It is very complicated views that have many Aligned components that include Main Panel, Aligned optical telescope, Sequence Camera, Docking window shade, Docking window. The central core contains the Hand Controller, Arm Rest, Ingress, Antibacterial Filter, Cabin Relief and Dump valve, Hand Controller, Crash Bar.
The Solar System's Planets, Size, and Orbits
The Earth's planetary group is additionally home to various locales populated by more minor objects. The space rock sash, which falsehoods between Scratches and Jupiter, is comparable to the physical planets as it is made basically out of rock and metal. Past Neptune's circle falsehood the Kuiper cinch and scattered disc; joined citizenries of trans-Neptunian questions made for the most part out o...
Farside of the Moon
The farside of the moon is always turned away from the Earth. Its appearance remained a mystery until 1959, when the Russian spacecraft Luna 3 was able to travel behind the Moon and send back the first photographs. Although the farside looks similar to the moon’s nearside, there are obvious differences. It has few maria, because the lunar crust is thicker than on the nearside, making it dif...
Apollo Lunar Module Initial Landing Component
Majority of the Apollo Lunar Components are more sensitive and they have to be treated very carefully. It contains components like Rendezvous radar antenna, environmental Control System module, Crew Compartment. A crewman handles all these components with utmost care. Reaction Control thruster assembly, ascent propulsion, Red Docking Light, Egress Platform, Fuel tank, Descent Engine, Lunar Sur...
Messages Sent into Space
Space messages tell about the biosphere, that includes the basic chemical compositions of the continents, oceans and atmosphere. The highest and lowest points of Earth and the surface strength of gravity are also listed in the space messages. Along with the relative sizes and ordering of the planets in our solar system, this message tells about the mass and radius of both our Sun and Jupiter. ...
The Amount of Junk in Outer Space
How much damage can a space debris do ? An example of the damage caused, a tiny speck of paint from a satellite once dug, a pit in a space shuttle window nearly a quarter – inch wide. 1mm metal chip could do as much damage as a 0.22-caliber long rifle bullet. A pea-sized ball moving this fast is as dangerous as a 400 lb safe travelling at 60 mph. A metal sphere the size of a tennis ball is as l...
Fun Facts About the Space Shuttle
Finding out the length of an orbit is a very tedious task. Unless one have flown aboard the space shuttle or have seen it in person, it can be difficult to mentally visualize the size of the vehicle. Here, we measure the orbiter against a familiar object, a school bus. The weight of Orbiter would weight around 178000 pounds. The heaviest African Elephant weighs 13200 pounds. It would take appro...
The Planets Interiors
Earth and the different several internal planets of our earth's planetary group (Mercury, Venus and Scratches) are causing of rock, to be containing regular minerals like feldspars and metals like magnesium and aluminum. So is Pluto. The different planets are not unyielding. Jupiter, case in point, is made up generally of trapped helium, hydrogen, and water. In our earth's planetary group, the...
The J-2 Engine
The J-2 was a liquid-fuel cryogenic rocket engine applied to NASA'S Jovian planet IB as well as Saturn Sixth is / release autos. Integrated the United States of America simply by simply Rocket dyne, the particular J-2 burned cryogenic liquid H & liquid oxygen propellants, along together using each and every power plant producing 1,033.1 kN (232,250 lbf) associated with pushed throughout ho...
The Universe's Levels of Reality
The central universe is the creation of eternity; the seven super universes are the creations of time; the four outer space levels are undoubtedly destined to eventuate – evolve the ultimacy of creation. And there aer those who maintain that the infinite can never attain full expression short of infinity; and therefore do they postulate an additional and unrevealed creation beyond the fourth and o...
Star Map - Southern Hemisphere September to February
Polar Star has sufficient body ability to ingest the elevated-controlled ice slamming normal to her operations. The shell plating and cohorted interior uphold structure are created from steel that has particularly great flat-temperature quality. The part of the body outline to slam ice is 1-3/4 creeps (45 mm) thick in the bow and stern areas, and 1-1/4 crawls (32 mm) thick amidships. The frame...
Astronomy 101 Collection
According to Quantum mechanics, electrons bound to an atom can only have particular values of energy; they are unique to that element. Absorption or emission of a photon of light by the atom occurs when the energy of that photon matches the difference between two of these energy levels. The gravitational pull of any object gets weaker the further you move from the object. Thus, the Moon p...
Looking Inside the Sun
The Sun is our nearest star. It is a huge, luminous ball of gas like all the other stars. It consists mostly of hydrogen, and helium with tiny amounts of other elements. The Corona is the outer shell of the Sun’s atmosphere. It is extremely hot with temperatures reaching up to 2 million degrees. In the radiation zone, the energy is transported outwards by radiation. It covers about 70% of the Sun’...
What Gravity does to Entropy
What qualifies as low entropy or high entropy depends on the situation. Physicists identify the high – entropy state of a system based on how the system evolves over time. For example, if a diffuse and sufficiently cool gas feels the tug of gravity, it evolves to a clump. The law of entropy increase then implies that the clump has high entropy, even though at first glance it might appear to be...
