And if you dont know, earthworms are hermaphrodites. And they are able to regenerate most lost segments of their body. Aside from they work tirelessly through out their lives, they are also form the basis of many food chain.
South african earthworm can grow as large as 22 feet. Earthworms need to breath also, but through their skin.They have no eyes but they can sense light. And through fossil evidence, it proves that earthworm like creatures have been living here for 65 billion years.
